Perfect spot for a weekend break

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The room was clean, though quite small - and we were told we'd been upgraded when we arrived so I can only imagine our original booking was for a cupboard! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and overall it was pretty good value for money. Other than the size of the room, the only other minor thing to consider is that the stairs are very narrow and quite steep. There is a lift but this was slow and a bit temperamental. For a weekend break, given that we didn't actually spend a lot of time in the hotel it was perfect.

In a lovely area, too. Always nice when a hotel is so responsive. I asked for a quiet room in advance and they made sure I was at the back, for instance. I'd happily stay again.

I really enjoyed my time here - no-frills budget hotel but great value. All you need for a basic stay - very clean and comfortable, nice hot shower, temperature in the room was spot on, wifi worked with no issues, as did the lift. All the staff were kind and friendly - much appreciated. Great location in a lively part of the 9th next to the Rue des Martyrs, easy walking distance to many interesting areas plus very handy for the metro.

The stay was ok but as we were leaving I asked the woman at reception for a paper cup and she replied it’s downstairs and I can’t give you one because they are counted against the rooms. I said to her in that case she should have an extra one as we didn’t use the ones provided in the room, to which she smiled and replied “that’s a shame”. Shocking way to treat a customer
